How does Invisalign® work?

How does Invisalign® work?

Invisalign® uses a series of clear plastic aligners to gently guide your teeth into their planned position. These aligners are custom-made for you, using 3D scans of your mouth to achieve accurate results with a comfortable fit.

At the start of your treatment, your specialist will use 3D scan technology to design your bespoke treatment plan, based on your smile goals. This overall plan is then split into phases with each phase consisting of an aligner series.

Over time, you will upgrade your aligner for the next in the series, gently guiding your teeth into their optimal position, all from the comfort of your own home.

Using the iTero Scanner 3D computer imaging technology, our Specialist Orthodontists can evaluate the current position of your teeth and jaw and predict how Invisalign® treatment could help. Once you have been approved for treatment, they will use the same technology to design your bespoke Invisalign® treatment plan.
