We strongly recommend a custom made mouthguard to protect you and your braces while playing some sports and activities. Because your teeth are moving during treatment it is difficult to find a good fitting mouthguard that gives enough space for your teeth to move and accommodate the brace itself.
Please ask us if you need a mouthgaurd. You will need an impression taken of your mouth with your brace. This is sent to our laboratory technician who makes the mouthguard for you. All you have to do is pick a colour and collect it a week later.
